EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Dream 178 illustrates a vital period of psychological convalescence and "downtime." Following the massive energetic breakthroughs and shadow integration of the previous dreams, the mind enters a state of structural maintenance. The "old house" represents the established architecture of the Ego and the ancestral self. The fact that the house requires repairs, yet evokes a feeling of natural affection and nostalgia, shows that the dreamer is embracing their past and their flaws without judgment. The "workers" are autonomous unconscious processes diligently healing and reinforcing the psyche while the conscious mind rests and observes.
